I have just cut my lovely festive soap, made with the best oils and butters. Winter Spice, scented with gorgeous Essential Oils, and no artificial colours, how cute are they if you add the little gift box as well. Pre orders being taken for Christmas. I will have some stock as well.

Who's coming for our summer open weekends? The gardens are in stunning condition and we can't wait to welcome you, with all the usual treats on offer! Admission is £7.50 (children free), with all funds going to local charities.

Great day out in Whitby, up the famous 199 steps to the Abbey, then down again for fish and chips at The Magpie Cafe. Amazing sunset on the way home

Runswick Bay is gorgeous at this time of year for a swim, Bailey loved it too. The water is warm at this time of year which is a bonus . Now to watch the bikes wiz passed the cottage.

We are getting the cottage ready for the “Tour of Britain” race tomorrow, it will be fun watching them cycle up Carlton Bank. I think it will take them less time than my 25minutes!

Well, that’s 2021 over and out and we have had some of the the most wonderful guests during the year and had numerous repeat visitors who we will be delighted to see again in 2022.
Hopefully we will see Covid recede in the coming year and thanks to all of our guests for staying safe and enjoying Weavers Cottage.

It’s going to be a lovely day at Tudor Croft Open gardens, one of the best privately owned gardens in the North of England, open for charity. Our guests who are lucky enough to be staying when the garden is open love their day out there.
