So i poured the beam yesterday with 3 ton of concrete and what u c is the beam sripped and a toe shutter fitted infront .This will have the timber frame struture sitting on it .This will be formed in concrete with reinforcment steel as a skeloton .Bit like us

So i shutterd a beam or formed it in timber then reinforced it with re bar .The beam needed to be 300mm wide and depth 650 mm lenght doesnt matter as long as the 2 measurements are the same .Concrete mixed at 4 to 1 so cemment and 20 mill to dust .This info is for people who are doing some stuff for themselves .The beam is a retaining wall for the road in and a footing for stone work .Ask any questions it is free .We are in difficult times so if you have a project and are unsure ask me .I may not be able to answer all but may be able to help .ITS FREE
