Shute Holiday Cottage is a gorgeous 17th Century property nestled in the charming Devonshire village of South Milton, set a mile inland from the fabulous South Milton sands, a national trust beach, on the glorious South Devon coast. A former monks retreat and almshouse, this Grade II* listed property is steeped in history and full of charm and character and delightful original features. This hidea

way is the perfect place to escape to and relax, to enjoy the rolling countryside and coastal walks, water sports or sailing down on the beach or in nearby Salcombe, and of course the perfect place to eat locally made ice-cream or enjoy and Devonshire cream tea! Shute Holiday Cottage will shortly be undergoing a renovation and will be (fingers crossed!) ready to welcome visitors to stay in Summer 2014.

It’s a wonderful time of year to catch early sunsets and enjoy beaches all to yourself.

There’s plenty of availability this winter to stay at the cottage, including the February half term weeks.

Perfect for brisk winter walks, cosy coastal lunches and then warming up by the stove back at the cottage.
