Please please please can we remind all our guests NOT to leave any dogs in the cottages unsupervised, this isn’t their usual home and they’re not familiar with it or all noise’s locally. It’s very distressing for us to hear them howling.😢😢😢😢

What an absolutely fabulous review from our guests who checked out this morning. They clearly didn’t let the weather spoil their fun, and trust me they had it pretty bad all week with the exception of Thursday. So good to know they were all comfortable and cosy on returning to the cottages. Thank you to you all and for leaving everything so clean and tidy, you know who you are!

Driveway before and after. Was in need of resurfacing and additional drainage installed. These are the ongoing maintenance jobs guests don’t necessarily notice.
Apparently, it’s not going to stay pink, I’m assured it’s just the dust🤞
We had a fabulous evening here last night, excellent wines and food, we would highly recommend for our guests to give it a try, in our local town of Kirkby Stephen, they have a fabulous upstairs area that would easily accommodate a group of 16.

We love this weekend in Kirkby Stephen, seeing all the vintage cars, lorries and tractors, gathering together for the Easter Rally, such a fun weekend for everyone and so good for the town. It’s on again tomorrow for anyone local looking for a great day out.

Charge of the lambs brigade! I love watching the young one’s having a play, while mum munches away in peace.🐑🐑🐑
Meet one of our new little helpers! It’s always a challenge keeping the grass cut when we have so many guests in the cottages, so this little fella will be programmed to come out overnight to cut while everyone sleeps soundly. Believe it or not it will save us about 8 hours a week! It’s like having a new member of staff😆 Flynn did have to bomb the video though, he’s been very intrigued!🐕🐕
