Aerialvue.co.uk A Different Perspective
Professional UAV Aerial Platforms for so much more than just imaging All pilots are trained in the operation of all our MR-UAV's.

AerialVue was created to allow photographers, film makers, emergency services and inspectorates, access to camera and monitoring platforms that can place an image or sensory system in a position that would be impossible with any other mechanism. A different perspective is provided by our multirotor flying platforms. At AerialVue we have a number of craft available to suit the diverse needs of our

clients and we are able to build bespoke platforms suitable for any requirement. We have a wealth of experience in this platform and all our multirotor, unmanned aerial vehicles (MR-UAV's). are constructed in house using the best and latest materials and technologies. All our MR-UAVs are flight tested by one of the countries leading builders of multirotor platforms to ensure reliability and safety. Our in house pilots have over 30 years of flying experience between them: giving you the confidence that we can deliver that crucial shot or exact footage required. They are also engineers in other fields: from construction to electronics and have an understanding of areas as diverse as inter seasonal thermal storage, electricity, search and rescue, and extreme sports. Their competence has been assessed by EuroUSE and all employed and subcontracted pilots have passed the CAA’s first recognised qualification: the BNUC-s and have the CAA's Permission for aerial work in accordance with the 'Air Navigation Order 2009'

The work we carry out fully encompasses all aspects of low level imaging and air sampling; carrying payloads up to 5kg. AerialVue's fleet of MR-UAV's can provide the perfect platform for your every need, from film production companies to emergency services. Because we have such a diverse range of CAA registered craft we can provide the perfect solution for every situation. We also have a fast reaction procedure which can put a pilot, crew and the correct MR-UAV in place, anywhere in the UK, within hours, no matter what the requirement.

The latest Gatwick fiasco is not rocket science! The tech is out there to bring it down, If its a fly out of the box there is the tech to trace it to its keeper. If its a hacked DJI then thats down to DJI to make them secure. If its a home build then the only way is with a shotgun or signal blocker. Why peeps don't get that anyone with an ounce if engineering skills can build a drone that can fly at 200 mph carry what ever they want and stuff it into any building they choose is beyond me. WHY does DJI and all the other DJI app creators allow a drone to continue its mission even though the TX has been lost is beyond me. When i brought it up with the CAA they weren't concerned. After this fiasco they may well look at the whole thing again.

Another year on but still very proud to have filmed this with my best ever wingman Paul Carr. A very special day in more than one way.

Never to be forgotten and the new display commemorating the 100 year anniversary should not be missed.

Well before we could leave the van at the TOL over night we had to have a full van search! First time we have parked it in the grounds overnight and first flight of the SkyJib there. We have filmed there at least 6 times in the past but Sunday was very special, just perfect and we drove away knowing we had accomplished more than the director had hoped for. Sort of regenerated the enthusiasm for the job. Roll on next in the series. BTW ATC and DPG where brilliant even though we were over 7kg. Very helpful even though one of the biggest London events was happening right outside. Aeronavics Ltd

We've not posted much recently for good reasons. The UAV or 'drone' industry is in a a mess. If we tweet or FB about a project the client gets bombarded with messages & emails from 'Newbie' & 'Inexperienced' operators trying to poach them. We have a wealth of operating experience in a wide variety of environments and flying off almost everything even sail boats. Our systems are NOT reliant on crashing Mobile Apps or restricted by GeoFencing. We have systems that just work. Experience counts. Inexperience COSTS!

Nice to see this eventually. Was a special project for us as I have been an avid follower of Sir David for as long as I can remember. A real gent with a cracking sense of humour.

Everyone please keep an eye out.

Sea Shepherd UK's QuadH2O amphibious drone 'Kuiper' has been STOLEN.

The drone was taken in it's large black Peli style protective case with many of it's spare parts from a locked outbuilding on a private gated property in Gloucestershire at the end of last week just before it was to be taken to film our volunteers Paddling for Freedom challenge on the coast of Wales - http://freedompaddle.co.uk/

The drone was named after a rescued/rehabilitated/released grey seal which was shot near Thurso in Scotland by wild salmon netsmen in 2015 and found by our crew on the second year of Sea Shepherd UK's Seal Defence Campaign - See: https://www.seashepherd.org.uk/news-and-commentary/news/seal-shot-dead-was-named-kuiper-seal-defence-campaign-update.html and was used on our Seal Defence campaign to locate seal marksmen and to inspect nets from above.

The drone is a yellow and black QuadH2O waterproof quadcopter which is very RARE in the UK. When stolen the drone had our logo and name in black decals (which might be removed...but not easily after 2 years). Due to the drone's rarity in this country it should be difficult to sell online without being noticed so please do check auction/sales websites and drone forums.

For information on how to return this drone to Sea Shepherd UK if you have it...or for anyone to provide information on where this drone might be or who stole it please contact Sea Shepherd UK on 0300 111 0501 or email: [email protected]

Starting our sixth year of permissions for aerial work or as it is known now as permissions for commercial operations (PfCO) We have two new amazing aircraft G-UAV2569 a Aeronavics SkyJibX4Ti and G-UAV2570 a Aeronavics SkyJibX4HLTi which will soon be approved by the CAA for operations outside the standard PfCO. One has been built for the new Panasonic GH5 and one for cameras such as the Red Epic, Alexa Mini or indeed any payload up to 8kg. Our bigger Aeronavics SkyJib X4HLTi G-UAV2570 in the picture. Unrestricted by GeoFencing or any other gubbins click and fly aircraft like the DJI Inspire2 comes baggaged with. Our aircraft are custom built in house to meet the rigours of commercial operations and all our operators have years of experience working in the commercial environments that demand the very best results.
