Great news for the weekend; conservation work at Laxey Wheel is making good progress and from Saturday 3 September you can climb to the top of The Lady Isabella and take in the magnificent views.

Please note access to the viewing platform may be suspended 7-9 September to allow for final repairs to take place. Please check our page next week for more information.

Lighting is an important element when creating the feeling of cozy contentment which the Danish call Hygge. I know I always feel calm and content sitting under a blanket on the settee with a coffee and candle glowing nearby. We love our guests to be able to experience this too but did you know that candles can pollute the air in your home? Standard paraffin wax candles release carcinogens when burned so to avoid this all our candles are LED.
