The lovely south facing, terraced garden is a real sun trap in the Summer, ideal for a relaxing day or a barbeque. The
re is an old Summerhouse in the garden that can be used for bicycle storage. Enjoy a stroll to Laxey harbour, beach or village, with amenities including shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Snaefell Mountain Railway sets off from Laxey on regular trips to the summit of Snaefell, the highest peak on the island with stunning views. The fully equipped, handcrafted farmhouse kitchen comprises range cooker with induction hob and double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and Belfast sink together with a wide range of utensils . The dining table provide ample space for four people to enjoy a meal. The cottage has a woodburner, original wooden floors , vaulted ceilings with beams and a stable door provide a truly traditional ambience. The two good sized bedrooms both have vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, king size beds, a wardrobe and chest of drawers, and views of Laxey Bay. The main bedroom also has a TV, whilst the second bedroom can be configured as either a double or two singles (please specify in advance). The bathroom is fitted with a high quality traditional style suite including a bath tub with 9” fixed rain shower rose with additional detachable shower attachment. Linen & towels are provided with washing machine & ironing facilities. Range of DVDs, books and outdoor furniture are available for guests use. The lounge has a TV and DVD player. Free Wi-Fi.
