The very latest travel updates simplified.

Eight countries have now moved from the UK's red travel lists, to the less restrictive amber.

This is great news for everyone that's dreaming of their next getaway!

Travel update 🌍

From 22 September, eight countries will be removed from the red list, including Turkey and Pakistan.

From 4 October, we will be switching to a simplified travel list and pre-departure tests will be scrapped for eligible fully vaccinated passengers.

Before the end of October, testing requirements will also be further reduced as eligible fully vaccinated passengers from non-red countries will be able to replace ‘day 2’ PCR tests with cheaper lateral flow tests, with a confirmatory PCR if they test positive.

From 19 July, adults double vaccinated with a NHS-administered vaccine do not need to quarantine when returning to England from amber countries, nor will children.
The recommendation for people not to travel to amber list countries will also be removed.
