One of our new recruits, Midsummer Mill is set in a valley next to the river Windrush. The tranquil flowing water is surrounded with delightful wildflowers, woods and meadows. A perfect location for exploring, long walks or just sit and be at one of the many seats along the river. Spectacular gardens with tennis court, kitchen gardens, pavilion, gazebo, sculptures and more. Should you be unlucky with the weather there’s a 13 metre indoor pool, steam shower and large well equipped gym. There’s even a premium pilates station, table tennis, cinema area and bar.

I did a personal organic food delivery from local farm shop to Congrove Barns Bath for our Easter guests. A very popular private and romantic bolthole with hot tub set in beautiful countryside near Bath. It was looking gorgeous and well done housekeeping for making it very Easter pretty! Haven’t been for a while so a good reminder of how cool the interiors are and what a wonderful spot it is! We’re lucky to have you!

Happy Easter everyone! Popped in to Good Friday to pick up some lovely local and organic produce. Three generations farmers growing cereal crops, potatoes & grass and rearing Cattle, Pigs & Sheep. In the shop you will find a butchery, delicatessen and plenty of local and/or organic produce. Too many to list but here are a few I noticed on the shelves. organic cheddar, organic brie, and sauces, chutneys, dressings and jams. Plenty of locally distilled gins too. One of the few I haven’t tried on the shelves, Somerset’s and if the gins are as good as the bottles are pretty they must be good! They also have a cafe should you need a rest after all that shopping.
