Who are we…
Well in the first instance, we are a couple of friends and parents who enjoy each other’s company and who have had our fair share of ‘the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune’ that life can throw at you. We have also been very fortunate and lucky enough to have had a lot support from some pretty amazing people out there…So now its time to give back. So, as a qualified aroma therapi
st, I decided to make my own skin products. I noticed a dramatic improvement after a couple of days of using some my ‘Home Made’ soap. I started to make soap and body wash for friends with various ailments such as scleroses, pmt, muscular, acne, athletes foot, various aches and pains, to name but a few. Then, Fresh & Wild in Stoke Newington discovered the products. They became very popular locally and began to fly off the shelves. The feedback was very encouraging and the business began to grow beyond what I was able to do with two young children to look after, so unfortunately, the business had to take a back seat for a while. Now we are back…
This time round and with another child allergic to most all commercially available products, I decided to revive the business with a good friend. We both have a shared interest in creating a business that is ethical, supportive and 100% natural ingredients, as well as just being a damn good product! The last couple of years have been difficult for us both on an emotional level. By creating the product’s we have found lots of common ground, comfort and solace in sharing personal experience while busily making soap and candles. It has been brilliant fun and therapeutic, so much so, that why we would like others to get involved! Future hopes…
We want to create a ‘Social Enterprise’ where by people in exchange for their time making products would be able to access various complementary therapies to support their emotional ‘wellbeing’. The idea is that by people getting involved they will find the support they need in making something of value that others will also value and appreciate. Building a home…locally
