We wish we could be there for this this year! 😭 Absolute highlight of the year for us.

Two weeks today - it's all happening on the quayside in East Looe as the 2024 Looe Food & Drink Festival takes place.....
... and what a line up there is for the chef demos running from 11am onwards.

PLUS a fabulous array of foods, drinks & music - September 15th is a day out in Looe you don't want to miss.

Trigger warning...we're about to say the 'W' word....that's right...Winter. After a busy year and a fully booked Autumn to come, we wanted to let you know that availability starts to open up in November. Quite honestly, there's nothing to beat the winter blues like a cosy up on the deck with hot chocolate (provided) under a blanket watching the lights over the water, especially when the Christmas (oh no! we said the 'C' word as well!) lights are switched on. You'll be surprised at how reasonable our short breaks are. Get in touch if you'd like to know more as only full weeks are shown on the website!

As the school summer holidays are now fully booked for next year, we've had many enquiries for 2026 so, as of midday today, we are now taking bookings for 2026! All dates and prices are live on the website. However, should you wish to book, we're happy to reduce the deposit due to the distant arrival dates. If you wish to book with a reduced deposit you can get in touch and we will process the booking for you. All deposits taken this year will be fully refundable until mid 2025.

Day 6:
Our final day 😔and it seemed the weather was crying for us so a bit of a soggy stroll over to pier one at banjo pier for pancakes, sausage babs and iced coffees 😋 to wait for the weather to clear.... It didn't. So we went back to sit on the deck and play cards. We all lost an equal amount so not just me for a change!
The weather cleared so we did a spot of crabbing and walked up to which REALLY lived up to the hype. I had the world's biggest ginger ice cream and it was gorgeous. We ate while we watched the seals from a bench. If you're not very mobile or have little ones then the land train (pictured) stops right outside the let and will take you there.
We stayed home for pizzas and then had drinks and nibbles. A chilled day.

Day 5:
Up bright and early to take the kayaks out to Looe island in some very interesting 😬 tides. Then back home, change and to Sarahs Pasty Shop for the best pasty ever! Then, shocker, it was to the pub for a swift pint. Home to grab the BBQ, River ferry over to East Looe for a BBQ and walk on the beach and then home to bed 😍😴💤

Day 4:
Day out in Plymouth. Mall shopping, walk along the barbican, HUGE lunch at the famous Cap'n Jasper's followed by ice-creams on the the
Hoe. Then home and change for a gorgeous dinner at cosy '50'. Gorgeous food and wonderful people. Another great day 🙂

Day 2.
Sunrise brew. AMAZING pastries from the Cornish Bakery, beautiful, sparkly walk to Polperro, lunch and Korevs at the brilliant The Blue Peter Inn, then more at the The Crumplehorn Inn & Mill while we waited for the bus then to dinner at the Sea Kitchen Looe YUM! Then back to watch the tide from the deck. Absolutely perfect day 😍😍

It's our turn to holiday at Waters Edge!!!
Our stay so far...
Day 1:
Town exploration, Prosecco outside the The Old Boat House, beautiful earrings from Heather Jane & Co, a spot of fishing for the youngest, Pastys from the Cornish Bake House cocktails at the The Golden Guinea, chippy tea from Kellys of Looe, ferry back over to Waters Edge Holiday Lets to eat them on the deck and watch the world, fishing boats and... racing pigeons?! 😂 go by, tons of laughter and then the most wonderful sleep!

Well well well!!! Look whats been going on at Waters Edge! Filming Beyond Paradise in front of the decking. What a sight for our guests this week! I wonder what we'll see when the episode comes out. Picture on the left shows our Waters Edge sign hanging above all the heads, the picture on the right has our deck just out of shot on the right. Exciting!

We had to do some 'work 😉' at Waters Edge this week while we had a couple of days available...our hearts always break when it's time to go! Misty mornings, balmy evenings and some early evening adventures along the way ❤️❤️

All in the name of research 😉 Waters-Edge and #cornishholidaylets spent Friday night exploring some new editions to the town. Starting with a G&T on the deck, we made it just yards before falling into the jolly for a pre-dinner pint. From there we wandered over to JuJu's restaurant to try out their tapas. We were extremely impressed with the food and the staff treated us like old friends. Highly recommended. From there we were too full to walk and so had to break our journey at 'Ye Olde Grog & Ale House' for a real ale. Great new additions to Looe! We finished off with one last stop at the music festival just a few meters down from Waters Edge. What a great night!
