Hello all! Sadly, due to other personal commitments we have sadly decided to "close up shop". This wasn't an easy decision to make, and we have had a wonderful few years meeting all our fantastic guests. The cottage has been extremely busy all season which has been great! We are currently accommodating our final guests and hope they have a wonderful stay, and they will wrap up our summer season for 2023. Thank you all for the wonderful support over the years, and especially to Static Clean Queen for helping us run smoothly between guests. It has been a pleasure. E&G 💐

Due to a cancellation we now have availability over Christmas and New Year. If you fancy spending your Christmas on the beautiful Lossie West beach along the stunning Moray Coastal Trail, we have an already festive decorated holiday home with some gifts under the tree, hot chocolate bombs for each guest, and a laid dining table ready with crackers for your Christmas dinner. We have also upgraded to fully controllable 'mood lighting' in the lounge for your desired ambience. With Netflix on both the lounge TV, and master bedroom TV, and an Alexa for your favourite festive tunes....we have everything you need for a perfect Christmas for a family of up to 4. Cozy holiday caravan right next to the beach by the North Sea. Bedding up to 6 persons with all amenities, in a complex with restaurant, bar, Bingo, swimming pool and kids' playground.

We are very honoured to be joining up with "Logan's Sunny Days" over the Summer to accomodate some remarkable children and their families for a wee break away. We have been very busy trying to focus on making the outside of our holiday home feel as inviting and welcoming to you all as possible. A three seater bench that converts into a "love seat" for a candle and a glass (or two) of wine, some bright and bonny potted plants, and uplighters so you can find your van when you get back from your adventures. If you look closely you can see the beautiful Covesea lighthouse reflected in the twin bedroom window. We have also filled up the kids' toy boxes with plenty of toys and games to enjoy outside and at the beach so your little ones will stay entertained. 🌺🐚🌊🥂

We still have a few more bits to do and a few more decorations to place, but our tree is up, and and we have little gifts wrapped and ready for our December guests. We are thrilled to see how many young budding artists have been enjoying a staycation at The Cottage!! We have paper and pencils in our welcome pack, in which we offer any 'littles' to draw us a picture of what they enjoyed most during their stay. We think these are just fabulous and they make wonderful additions displayed in our welcome book! Well done kiddo's! 🎨

Upon your arrival to The Cottage, you will see our safety sticker seal across the door. This is to give you peace of mind that the entire living spaces have been sanitised and fogged in line with COVID-19 UK Govt guidelines. The property is then sealed to any other visitors before your arrival. We are Static Clean on board with us. Always a fantastic service. 🧼🧽

We have received a few enquiries about where we got our Hamish the Highland Coo, that has pride of place in the bedroom. We personally have a couple of these handsome fellows now. Each one is different and unique, and they were made by our good friend Catriona. She collects driftwood from our local beaches and goes on to design these gorgeous chaps. We have her blessing to pass on your information to anyone that would like to discuss/order. We have quite a few other items in The Cottage made by other local artists and small businesses so if anything takes your fancy we can provide more information and contact info for you.

As you will know new guidelines from the Government regarding Covid-19 come into place today, which means some changes to our entertainment schedule.

The day schedule as below now covers everything on until 6pm each day here at Silver Sands. You will see our evening Cash Bingo sessions have been brought forward to ensure we have time for it within the new timeframe.

Thank you for your understanding as we adapt to these new guidelines, which are set by the Government as a legal obligation for the safety of everyone on park 💙

We are a self-catering, fully equipped holiday home caravan based within the Silver Sands holiday village at Lossiemouth west beach. With absolutely stunning shoreline and coastal trail which is suitable for hiking or biking, it's perfect for a fun, adventure filled holiday with the kids....or just a relaxing break away. The Covesea lighthouse puts on an incredible light display each night, whilst the caves below are perfect for adventures. We sleep 4, with a king sized room and a twin room, and we are pet friendly for well behaved dogs subject to terms and conditions. Complimentary Wifi and Netflix are provided along with all bedding/towels needed. All rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the entire living space is 'fogged' with an antibacterial mist by a fogging machine before your arrival.

We have been asked a number of times over the last few days whether we allow dogs at The Cottage. The answer is yes, we LOVE our four legged friends! However....listen up pups....we do have some rules in place if you're planning to bring along your fur babies for a staycation, which would have to be agreed upon. If this applies to you, please give us a message and we can happily discuss a few terms and conditions.
