Almost there, putting the final touches to the site plan, making sure that the banners and posters are all-around. We have the leaflets for the window decorating competition that once again Kerry's are sponsoring and judging. I hope everyone will again support Applefest by decorating their windows. It is lovely for us all to look at the autumn displays. Frank Matthews are kindly going to do an extra display at the entrance so we are really looking forward to seeing that. The apple's for the trail are ready for our young adventures to find. We have candy floss, facepainting and other entertainment going on, in and around the childrens tent. Don't forget the owls and Alpacas. We can't wait to see them again.

Take a walk over the farmland at Whatmore Farm.

Take a walk over the fields and tracks through Whatmore Farm. You can walk down to the Corn Brook and over the little footbridge. You can also walk along the recently renewed farm tracks and through the ford in the Corn Brook and then follow the track to the end. If you’d like to walk further, you can go over the field to the Cleobury road and then back through the lanes to Whatmore Farm.

This lovely English Country Garden is a delight! Full of traditional plants, it offers interest all year round. There are many flowers for the bees and the owners have their own beehives and have honey available if you would like to purchase some for a present, or just for yourself to remind you of warm summer days spent relaxing in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
