We are excited to announce that our family of Wood Leisure Holiday Parks is growing! We have recently become the new owners of Faskally Caravan Park in Pitlochry.

The caravan park has been in the trusted care of the Hay Family since the 50’s and we are delighted to be able to continue with their success. We would like to wish the Hay family all the very best for their future!

The Wood Family began their holiday park journey over 40 years ago and we now own 5 holiday parks with the new generation. Faskally is an exciting addition to our family of holiday parks and we look forward to welcoming new and returning guests in March 2025!

The park closed on 31st October 2024, but we will be in contact with all holiday home owners, seasonal touring customers and those with future bookings in the coming weeks.

We would like to say a fond farewell to all our loyal customers we’ve had at Faskally over the years. Today we are handing over the reins of the caravan park from the Hay family to the Wood family.
It’s a very emotional day for us after 70 years of being our family business though the generations.
We want to thank you all for your custom and support over the years.
We are confident that the Wood family will carry on the family business ethos, and we wish them every success for the future. We have known the Woods over many years and we are happy that Faskally is in safe hands going forward.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ewan Hay, owner of Faskally Caravan Park.

He was very proud of the business he built and made many friends with customers he welcomed over the years. He will be greatly missed by all.

General assistants required for season/summer

Faskally Caravan Park is beautifully situated near Pitlochry, amidst some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery in the heart of Highland Perthshire.

Your role would involve various jobs:
• Pool
• Bar
• Restaurant
• Reception
• Outdoor grounds work
• Cleaning/housekeeping

We allow staff to focus on particular roles but generally will enable you to get involved in all areas at Faskally.

These shifts would be a mixture of split and straight shifts over five and a half days each week.

We offer:
• On-site staff accommodation if needed (for a small charge)
• Good salary package
• Full-time seasonal work

Applicants must have experience, be presentable and outgoing with a good level of spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK

Glasgow City and Moray are to stay in Level 3 on Monday and therefore we are not allowed to accept arrivals from the affected areas. You can reschedule your booking by calling or e.mailing us. You can check on the Postcode Checker attached if your booking has been impacted. It is disappointing for all concerned but if we follow these guidelines hopefully it will prevent further spread and an opportunity for both areas to move into Level 2 as soon as possible.

Glasgow City and Moray will stay in Level 3 to help control coronavirus cases.

Do not travel to or from these areas, unless it's for a permitted purpose.

Business support is available.

These measures will be reviewed next week.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all back. It is vitally important that you adhere to the rules below when making your bookings. If your current booking does not meet these rules please get in contact ASAP.

This applies to owners of holiday homes, seasonal tourers and all other bookings.

From 26th April – guests from one household can stay overnight in self catering accommodation.

From 17th May four guests from two households can stay overnight in self-catering accommodation.

Hopefully in early June up to 6 people from up to 3 households can stay in self-catering accommodation.

Children under 12 are not included.

The Covid-19 restriction on travelling around Scotland is to be lifted from Friday 16th of April but overnight stays are still NOT allowed. Therefore our scheduled opening date is still the 26th of April.
