Visited Margate this morning, one of the area's most popular places to visit. Whilst there, stopped by Batchelor's Patisserie, Margate on Northdown Road in Cliftonville for one of their delicious warm croissants and a freshly ground coffee.

This retro-style cake and coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth, everything is made to perfection.

Lovely walk along the beach to this sunny afternoon for a bit of run with the dogs. Totally forgot about the annual Broadstairs Blues Bash so stopped to enjoy with little glass of something red at the dog friendly Jetty Broadstairs. We have such great music events here in Thanet and still availability 12-18 August for folk week at our dog and family friendly 5 bedroom house.
