Why choose pleached trees? With a clear stem, pleached tree heads are trained on a trellis to help maintain a more formal rectangular shape. They provide an instant ‘hedge on stilts’ when planted in a row. Perfect for creating privacy along boundaries in smaller gardens, leaving space for attractive planting underneath.

We are renowned for our range of large plants, specimen trees and instant screening solutions. Why wait years for something to grow when you could be enjoying it right now.

We are so proud of one of our directors for supporting his best friend on this epic challenge

The challenge is to walk the full length of Hadrian’s Wall, Carlisle to Newcastle with Luke who was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease last year at the age of 34.

As a degenerative disease, his physical condition has deteriorated since his diagnosis and will continue to do so but his love of the outdoors, determination to keep doing what he loves despite the challenges and his desire to support research into a cure has motivated him to undertake this 84 mile hike raising money for My Name’s Doddie and the MND Association.

If you are interested in following his journey or sponsoring them then please see the link below. We would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer. Thank you.

Ornamental grasses can really lift a border, giving it that designer look when planted amongst architectural perennials such as the cool blue Agapanthus.

For tall flowing grasses, try Stipa tenuissima. The earthy tones of the grasses contrast really nicely with bluey / purple Salvia and Verbena bonariensis.
