Fantastic opportunity to see an amazing array of sculptures with the gorgeous backdrop of the Wye Valley Sculpture Garden. Starts this Sunday 2nd June and runs until 15th September. (Tea and homemade cake on Sundays).

And what’s more it’s in our village! All our guests visit the castle and say it’s fantastic. The coffee shop is good too 😉

Did you know that Goodrich Castle takes its name from an English landowner, Godric, who built the first castle here in the late 11th century? 🖋️

Its fine Norman keep was added a generation later. 🏰

A reminder that the shop will be open from 7am until 6pm on bank holiday Monday 6th May.

As usual on a Monday our Cafe will be closed.

Something different for guests to do!

Try your hand at orienteering, a map reading challenge for all levels. The aim for everyone is to navigate between control points marked on an orienteering map. If you are feeling competitive, the challenge is to complete the course in the quickest time. At Symonds Yat Rock there are 6 orienteering....
