For guests who bring their dog on holiday there is now the option to book the use of Claudeโs Meadow, which is an enclosed dog field for exercising your dog off lead and is just a short walk from the cottage.
Full price is ยฃ6 for 45 minutes but guests staying at Little Acres can take advantage of a 20% discount โฆ.. just contact us before booking your slot(s) and we will email you a discount code to use.

Claudeโs Meadow - a 1.5 acre enclosed dog exercise field based in Cawood.
Just to keep guests up to date regarding pubs to get a meal locally. The popular dog friendly Castle Inn in Cawood has taken the decision to stop serving food and is now only open for drinks st the weekend until a new tenant is found.
However, for those of you who like to eat out the Black Swan in Wistow has reopened and is getting great reviews for their food. Sunday lunch is proving very popular so youโll need to book a couple of weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. Theyโre dog friendly so you can take your pooch. Check out their page below:

There were 3 surprise visitors early this morning ๐ ๐ฆ
This was just at the side of the cottage garden but they were a little too close to the road for our liking so we went out to disturb them.
If youโre an early bird keep your eyes peeled whilst having your morning brewโฆ.you may be lucky and get to watch them at close quarters. ๐ค๐ป
The owls are very active at the minute as well. Plenty of tawny owls to spot from sunset to sunrise ๐ฆ
We think Little Acres cottage is a home from home and a lovely place to stay but weโre biased and would say thatโฆโฆ..
