where the chicken and geese live. Downstairs is a kitchen, with traditional pantry,
sitting room with a large dining table great for family meals or games. There is a
seperate sitting room with comfy armchairs and a log fire. The cottage opens onto a large garden with BBQ and wooden table and chairs. Feel free to walk around the farm or ask for a guided tour. We will help you
collect eggs from the chickens. There is always a dog, cat or horse to pet. We can guarantee plenty of peace and quiet on the farm. However we are well
situated for lots to do, although a car is essential. It is only half an hours drive to
beautiful historic York, or fascinating Hull the other way. Leeds and Doncaster are
not much further away, nor is the beautiful hills of the North Yorkshire moors and
coast and the well kept secret the Yorkshire Wolds. Come and enjoy a warm Yorkshire welcome on our farm. We live in the farm
house next door so are always around to ask advice or have a chat. Ideal for families or couples who want a quiet getaway. We look forward to welcoming you

The organ of Selby Abbey is one of the finest romantic instruments in Britain. It was built in 1909 by William Hill and Son. It was considered to be the best organ that the Abbey could have obtained at that time and represented a high point in the course of the British craft that was soon to be lost.

18/02/2022

Explore the hidden treasures of the Abbey in a light you’ve never seen before on the 19th. One of our expert guides will tour you round the Abbey sharing our incredible stories from past and present.

Tickets are priced at Β£7.50 and can be purchased from Eventbrite
