We enjoy spending time together as a family, walking around the lakes, bike rides and fun filled day trips. I adore children and I am very passionate about my career and my family. I have experience

of working with ages Newborn-12 years. Before becoming a Childminder I worked in a children's nursery for 9 years, I worked with children aged 4 weeks-5 years. I was also the deputy manager of the nursery for the last 4 years of my employment there, where I worked with all age groups on a daily basis. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and gained a great deal in my professional development. Childcare has always been my chosen career. In the past 13 years I have had the opportunity to gain experience in Early years (0-5 Years) through babysitting, Play Groups, Children's Centres, Pre-Schools and Nurseries. I also have a lot of experience of working with School age children (5-13years) in Primary Schools, Breakfast Clubs, After school Clubs and Holiday Clubs. As a mother of two I have gained plenty of experience through them.

Hummingbirds Childcare is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm I am on all 3 Ofsted Registers and can therefore accept children of all ages and in special circumstances I can provide overnight / weekend / emergency care. I completely understand how daunting it can be when choosing Childcare that suits your family needs so please contact me for a chat and to ask any questions you may have. I offer a variety of sessions at different costs. >2 course Meals, Snacks, Drinks, Playgroup visits, some day trips are all included in my prices. QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING. > I am currently working towards a Degree in Early Years. My Story.

My name is Michelle, I am 32. I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live in Siddington with my Fiancé Tom, our 6 year old son and our 2 year old daughter. We enjoy spending time together as a family, walking around the lakes, bike rides and fun filled day trips. I adore children and I am very passionate about my career and my family. I have experience of working with ages Newborn-12 years. Before becoming a Childminder I worked in a children's nursery for 9 years, I worked with children aged 4 weeks-5 years. I was also the deputy manager of the nursery for the last four years of my employment there, I worked across the board with all age groups on a daily basis and led the large team to be motivated, enthusiastic childcare proffesionals. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and gained a great deal in my professional development. Childcare has always been my chosen career. In the past 15 years I have had the opportunity to gain experience in Early years (0-5 Years) through Play Groups, Children's Centres, Pre-Schools, Nurseries and Childminding. I also have a lot of experience of working with School age children (5-13years) in Primary Schools, Breakfast Clubs, After school Clubs and Holiday Clubs.

I also have two children of my own and therefore have gained plenty of experience through them, although I do understand that everyone has different parenting styles and techniques which I respect and will work in partnership with you to ensure I offer appropriate care to your child as an individual.

Hummingbirds Childcare is run solely by me, Michelle, I run a home based childcare setting which I focus on being a home from home environment, but with the resources, equipment and activities to suit and stimulate your child.

When your child becomes a fully fledged Hummingbird I will do all I can to help them feel safe, secure and happy whilst they are in my care, I will support them in their educational and emotional needs by providing nurturing, educational and explorational learning. Hummingbirds Childcare provides a variety of activities from messy play, outdoor exploring, mark making, baking, physical activities such as music times and dance, role play, story times, play group visits, day trips and much much more!!!
