There are many golf courses within a 40 mile radius including the Championship courses at Castle Stewart and Spey Valley. Tomintoul is well placed for exploring the Cairngorm National Park and the Moray Firth.

Moody skies over Inchrory earlier today. What a wonderful walk this is - one of the few places you can go in the UK that feels really wild and forgotten. Of course in reality, even this is a totally manufactured landscape shaped by man for thousands of years. But hey ho - it still brings out the poet in us all!

Had a great scone and coffee at Allarburn Farm Shop in Elgin yesterday. Came home via Forres where we had a lovely lunch at Mackenzie & Cruickshank Garden Centre.
