A low cost, low hassle alternative way to get to the Alps. We operate a weekly luxury coach service from London and Folkstone to over 40 top destinations in the French Alps. Snow Express travel is a fraction of the price of flying. Unlike most airlines there is no luggage weight restrictions and specially designed for snow sports enthusiasts, there are of course no extra fees for sports equipment
carriage. Travelling with Snow Express means no long airport queues, long waits at the airport and expensive airport transfers. Once boarded the coach you can relax right up until we drop you in resort. By travelling by coach you are also doing your bit to help the environment. The glaciers and snowy mountain tops which we hold so dear are already being affected by changes in environment making global warming an important issue for keen skiers and snowboarders. Travelling by coach to the Alps produces 56% less kg of CO2 per traveller than a train, 54% less than a small car, 65% less than a large car and a whopping 83% less than travelling by plane. Choosing to travel with Snow Express rather than travelling by plane saves around 280 kg of CO2 per traveller on a return journey to the Alps.

COP26 is in full swing from today but what do we want to see?
There are a few things that we repeatedly call for:
✅ carbon labelling on transport tickets
✅ a tax on aviation fuel
✅ a moratorium on airport expansion
✅ a frequent flyer levy
✅ the cancellation of flight routes where a viable alternative exists
👍🏽 Generally we want to see some decent framework put in place for policies that will actually make a meaningful and rapid reduction in emissions.
👎🏽 What we don't want to see is the same old greenwash and empty promises that don't result in any real action.
🤔 This is a key opportunity for leaders to step up to meet the complex challenges we face but, let's be honest, it's not likely that they will do anything to astound us! 😆
So while our aims remain high, and we hope that a strong foundation is created from which we can build upon together, it's important to be realistic with our expectations; COP26 is only a two-week event.
Climate action is happening 365 days of the year, and the work will continue long after this event is over.
