Founded by Robert Luxton in 2001, Aeroporto began life as a tensioned fabric and prop specialist, offering custom hand sculpted tensioned fabric installations for projects such as the Cancer Research Fund Millennium Ball, Charlotte Church Concert and Siemens mobile phones. Our team is an eclectic mix of artisans, designers and engineers, with backgrounds in sculpture, video, lighting, graphics, pr

oduct and interior design, architecture and construction, electronics and engineering. Aeroporto evolved into an agency able to create extraordinary experiences. Our studio & workshop is located in Southside Hong Kong, where we imagine, experiment, tinker and invent. Whilst we design, hand build or modify many of our specialised pieces in the studio, we also manufacture in our network of China factories. This combination allows us to work on projects of any scale, whilst remaining fluid, flexible and creative. Whether it’s a push button automaton, large scale event or an exhibition, we strive to create memorable experiences with a big impact.

嚮應我們藝術主題中的宇宙觀概念，Aeroporto Design提交了他們的獲選概念設計「The Cosmic Bobble」。除了有如太空洞穴的科幻外形，內裡更佈滿超過二萬五千塊全人手切割的反射物料，由創作團隊在Clockenflap揭幕前連日趕工裝嵌，在無窮的光影折射中，形成西九草地上的另一遍小天地；身處「The Cosmic Bobble」之中，觀眾能夠短暫逃離現實的想像框架，盡情讓思緒奔馳。十分感謝Aeroporto Design的創作！

Answering the call of our Cosmic and Communal theme, Aeroporto Design submitted their winning concept design for The Cosmic Bobble. Working tirelessly in the run up to Clockenflap – the handcrafted geodesic dome housed 25,000 reflective shards - each mirror cut and positioned by hand. The Cosmic Bobble, squatting on a patch of grass with ICC looming in the distance, offered a truly cosmic escape and a temporary suspension of our known reality. Thank you Aeroporto Design!

Our latest project with Peroni and Text100. From invitation design, printing and backdrop, to table centerpieces, display cases and Peroni branded POS items, we created an atmosphere of quality and subtle elegance which was fitting for Peroni.

Celebrating the magic of elegance, passion and design, we helped create Amici Di Peroni: an Italian Evening of Sparkle and Shine.

Our latest project at Asia world expo. Asked by Infiniti to design and build their engagement booth and car display for phantom of the opera show in Hong Kong, we created a themed display using key elements from POTO, French emperor furniture, heavy velvet drapes, dark red roses in bronze urns, candlelabra with flickering candles, large gold ornate picture frame for photo op, old wooden platforms, etc. all details are integrated to recapture the dark romantic and mysterious feeling of the Phantom.
