Wonderfruit 🍒 We danced, we discovered, but most of all, we LOVED ♥️ Words aren’t enough to describe how full of joy my heart is from those few days in the Fields, surrounded by the most beautiful people and experiences. Wear it with Pride, they said. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️So I took to where it all began. 53 years ago, on this very day (June 28 1969), at this very spot, the Stonewall Inn riots kicked off what was to become the Pride movement that got us so many of our LGBTQ+ rights. It’s such a privilege to be here today. Remembering that it was primarily trans people of colour whose bravery led the way. Recognising that we can’t take for granted what we have today. So as we celebrate Pride with parties and revelry, take some time to remember how we got here and what it’s all about and how so many others continue to be deprived of their rights. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✊🏾

I’ve made such amazing friends and had so many fabulous memories in over the years 🥰 Such a joy to have a final farewell celebration there, and an honour to receive a PCL T-shirt. ♥️ Sai Ying Pun where I lived my entire 5 1/2 years in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 is such a special neighbourhood. A vibrant mix of traditional, local shops mashed with newer, Western businesses and people - representing what Hong Kong is all about. I love that even in a city like HK, the people running my favourite stalls/shops/restaurants would recognise me and chat on a personal level, not to mention my many best friends living a stone’s throw away. My apartment in The Nova with stunning harbour view and rooftop pool and where I hosted many meals… Home.
