Everyone has their favorite, and many stick to their favorite religiously. But you don't need to go out to eat Hummus, you can do it yourself ! Making hummus isn’t too hard, and it’s certainly is something that you want to try at least once – or like many, time and time again, in search for the holly grail of real hummus flavor. Our simple recipe for traditional homemade hummus, is a good place to start.

The Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, known in Arabic as Mar Saba.
The traditional date for the founding of the monastery by Sabbas the Sanctified of Mutalaska, Cappadocia is the year 483 and today houses around 20 monks. It is considered to be one of the oldest inhabited monasteries in the world, and still maintains many of its ancient traditions.
