Misuku Expeditions and Adventures With Colby organized a Camping safari at Vwaza Wildlife Reserve for Mzuzu University Students from the faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

The purpose of this expedition wasn’t to make profits but to entirely expose the students to some of the attractions the Northern Region has. We understand these are the tour operators and policy makers in the making so the earlier the better.

The first night We camped by Lake Kazuni in Vwaza Wildlife Reserve. It was such a beautiful sight to camp at which was well decorated with clear skies full of stars.

In the morning after breakfast some went for a boat safari where they interacted with hippos, elephant’s, impalas and different species of birds. That was followed by a walking safari.

Thereafter, we proceeded to Kabotha village for a cultural experience. Local foods and Vimbuza dances were the highlight of the afternoon.
