I love Xcacel-Xcacelito . One of the most wonderful beaches with Natur protection. If you have the chance to visit Xcacel, on October 23th, go. You will not regret it. Bring your kids, or enjoy a day to discover all the activities at this wonderful nature conservation site. No sunblock, long sleeved everything is better. No trash and no taking anything from nature. And if you need transportation or a translator, contact us, we can take you there any other day to have fun snorkeling and learning about nature.

Today we celebrate at Nature Geek Squad and around the world! The theme of 2023 is "Yoga for the wWelfare of All as One-World-One-Family." Yoga can be done anywhere in the world in any comfortable, stress-free place. Yoga is a mind-body practice that originated in India thousands of years ago. It combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation. Yoga has been shown to improve flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance. It can also help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and prevent heart disease.
This observance holds great importance in shedding light on the importance of psychological and physical wellness in today’s world.

Founders of Nature Greek Squad Linda and Dario, a while back in 2013, in Lake Titicaca, Peru, in Las Islas Flotantes ( The Floating Islands), home of the indigenous Uros people, created by stacking layers upon layers of totora roots and reeds. Also used by this group to make boats, houses, roofs, mattresses and more. Travel has always been a part of life for these two, and that is their inspiration for creating a platform for people to explore, discover and experience nature and culture in Latin America.

It's clear who won this showdown in the nightmare-inducing ‘cave of hanging snakes' 😲🦇🐍🌅

As the sun sets in Quintana Roo, Mexico, thousands of bats fly out of their cave to find food, but rat snakes hanging from the cave roof are ready to eat too.

Using a red light that bats and snakes are less sensitive to, photographer Fernando Constantino Martínez Belmar waited in the dark to capture a Yucatan rat snake pouncing and nabbing a bat out of mid-air before recoiling into its crevice.

The predators and prey use different senses to find each other in the dark. Bats use echolocation to locate predators while snakes can feel their prey's vibrations as they fly by. The non-venomous rat snakes swallow their prey alive and also hunt lizards, frogs, rodents, and birds.

This epic image was a winner in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.
