Overlooking Groenburgwal he painted the Zuiderkerk in 1874.
The painting was sold to the Philadelphia Museum of Art in America.

Today skipper Ramon past by the Amsterdam, a copy of a 18 century tallship of the VOC company, next to the maritime museum.
This ship was build by volunteers and has been on this spot since 1991.
It is very impressive!
