Mt. Machhapuchhre (6993m) also known as Mt. Fishtail has never been climbed to its summit. No permits are given to climb the mountain as it is said to be sacred as a home to god Shiva.

Canyoning is the sport of abseiling (repelling) down waterfalls. Whilst Canyoning, one will journey though narrow passages of rock which have been contoured by ages of rushing water from the Himalayan snow melts and heavy monsoon rains. You will be traveling down canyons using a variety of techniques including walking, scrambling, climbing, cliff jumping, abseiling and swimming.

White-water rafting in Nepal.
The put-in point for rafting on the Trisuli River is a three-to-four hour drive from Kathmandu. It’s a nice, bouncy river, but the rapids aren’t too big, making this an ideal river for beginners. The waters are usually quite warm and pretty terraced farmland, local villages and enormously high hills can be seen from the river. As these waters also flow between Kathmandu and Pokhara – the highway runs parallel to it for some of the way – and the river trip ends near the turn-off to Chitwan.
