Post: Sales & Operations Trainee
Requirements:
Skills: Pleasant personality, excellent communication skills.
Hours: 9:30am - 6pm, 6 days a week. At times will be required to work outside regular hours, with additional remuneration.
Education: Intermediate level or higher
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English, good command of spoken Nepali. Knowledge of French / Spanish / Italian / German / Dutch will be an added advantage.
Experience: Minimum one year’s experience in customer service
Job description:
You will work under the supervision of the Sales & Operations Officer, assisting with tasks pertaining to sales and operations. You will have opportunities for training and experiential learning regarding:
* Managing products: obtaining and updating product and cost information from vendors, maintaining product information and product tariff worksheets.
* Promotion: Undertaking tasks related to online as well as local marketing & promotion, including prospecting, calling on agents, distributing promotional literature and materials, maintaining mailing lists, creating content for newsletters and social media posts, etc.
* Sales: Dealing with customer inquiries by phone, email, online, and in person. Designing and costing trips, and providing quotes to customers. Invoicing customers for products sold, and receiving payments thereof.
* Operations: Making reservations for flights, hotels, surface transfers, and other adventure activities and travel services. Assigning guides to treks and tours. Issuing purchase orders and receiving vendor bills. Assisting clients on field with arrivals and departures, briefing and debriefing clients. Coordinating with vendors and field staff to ensure the reliability and quality of services provided to customers.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000 commensurate to experience and qualifications.
Upon successful completion of three months as a trainee, you will be considered for promotion to the post of a Sales & Operations Assistant.
