Captivating views of beautiful Ghandruk village during Annapurna Base camp Trek by

Ghandruk is a beautiful village located in the Kaski district of the Gandaki province in Nepal.
The village offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Machapuchre mountains. Surrounded by lush forests and terraced fields, Ghandruk is a key stopover on treks like the Annapurna Base Camp and Ghorepani p**n hill treks, with well- maintained trails suitable for all levels.

“Gokyo Ri Sunset"

Dusk glow over the mighty Himalaya as shot from the summit of Gokyo Ri (17,575 ft). From up top I was treated to four of the six highest mountains on Earth. Getting this image required climbing the same peak back to back nights as I was socked in clouds the first night. I didn't take a single image given you couldn't see a few feet in front of you... Thus, I hiked down in the dark back to Gokyo and was determined to head up again the next evening. My persistence paid off with the vibrant Gokyo lakes and Ngozumpa Glacier (longest glacier in the Himalaya) glistening in the valley below.
The following evening I did another night climb to photograph sunset from a different angle. Doing back to back to back night adventures above 17,000' was a tiring task in the cold and didn’t help my Khumbu cough, but the views were simply incredible!

The trek reaches a maximum altitude of 4,130 meters at Annapurna Base Camp, where trekkers are rewarded with stunning panoramic views of some of the highest peaks in the Himalayas.

From Annapurna Base Camp, trekkers can witness breathtaking views of Annapurna I (8,091 meters), Machapuchare (also known as Fishtail Mountain, 6,993 meters), Annapurna South (7,219 meters), Hiunchuli (6,441 meters), and Gangapurna (7,455 meters). The sanctuary is a high glacial basin surrounded by a ring of majestic mountains, creating a natural amphitheater.

I challenged myself to Three passes trek in Everest region! In 19 days I crossed three mountain passes-Renjo La(5 360m), Cho La(5420m) and Kongma La Pass(5 535m=18 159 ft). I reached three summits-Gokyo Ri(5 357m), Kala Patthar(5 644m=18 519ft) and Chukung Ri(5 546m). And I hiked to two base camps-Everest(5 364m) and Ama Dablam(4 706m). I chose this trek because it’s supposed to be one of the hardest in this region, I did it off season and carried my 13-14kg backpack. I chose to go clockwise because it’s more challenging-less people do it this way-for-a-reason!!! I wanted to do it all and I did it! I have a lot to say to this trek, just to wander in such a high altitude for so long is challenging by itself, didn’t have to add that many more challenges-really! Anyway, it’s over now and I am ready to go home! Namaste 🙏

The Chhapbhanjhyang hike is one of the best around Kathmandu Valley, covering about 12 kilometers. It starts in Pharping, goes through Hattiban Resort, Champadevi temple, Bhasmasur Danda, and Chap Bhanjyang, and ends in Machhegaon. The highest point is 2,491 meters. Chhapbhanjhyang is a hub connecting Champadevi, Chandragiri, and Machhegaon at 2,275 meters.

Breaking News: The civil authorities of Nepal have officially announced the reopening of the Helicopter Landing at Kalapatthar at an elevation of 5643m. Previously, helicopter landings were banned until further notice. Now, travelers can once again experience the breathtaking views of Everest while directly landing at Kalapatthar.

Mardi Himal Trek 2023
8 Days/ 7 Nights

Mardi Himal is located in Kaski district of western Nepal. The 8 days trek starts from Kathmandu, with a 7-8hrs drive to Pokhara (gateway city to Annapurna mountains).
The trekking trail of mardi himal starts at Kande (1 hrs drive from pokhara), which goes all the way up to Mardi himal Base Camp. While returning back to pokhara, the trail descends down to Sidhing village from Low camp followed by 4hrs drive. The trek is famous for its amazing landscape of villages, hills and mountains.
