Four team members, along with six Sherpas, are now at Camp 2, planning for a summit push on May 23rd. Our first attempt was thwarted by high winds, forcing us to turn back from the South Summit. It was a tough decision, but safety comes first. We are hopeful and determined for a successful climb this time! 🌄💪

Everest Summit Success! 🌟

We are overjoyed to share the exhilarating news from our Everest expedition team! This morning, at approximately 10:45am, they triumphantly reached the summit of Mount Everest! 🎉

A historic moment was achieved by Yandy Martinez Nunez, a resilient climber hailing from Cuba but living in Iceland. Yandy Martinez Nunez has created history as the first Cuban to conquer the summit, accompanied by the exceptional guide Pasang Tenzing Sherpa an IFMGA guide. This summit marks Pasang Tenzing Sherpa 16th Everest triumph—an incredible feat of endurance and mountaineering prowess!

Joining the summit party is John Warwick Dover from Australia, who reached the peak alongside with guide Danurbu Sherpa. Their determination and teamwork brought them to this extraordinary achievement.

Celebrations continue as Jason Ralph Ramsdel from the USA proudly stood atop Everest with his climbing guide Sangey Sherpa.

We congratulate the entire team for their remarkable achievements and the unwavering spirit they displayed throughout their journey. Each step, each challenge overcome, has led them to this unforgettable moment. 🙌✨

13th May: Base camp to camp 2
14th May: Rest day at camp 2

Despite facing challenging weather conditions and physical demands, the expedition team successfully completed the rotation up to camp 3, reaching an altitude of approximately 7000m above sea level. The team will now have a chance to rest and recuperate at base camp before deciding on their next steps. The team will also assess their plans and the current weather conditions to make informed decisions for their future climbs.

It's no easy feat scaling high altitudes like this, but we're impressed with the team's determination and grit. We remain hopeful for their safe and successful return to base camp today.
