Located in the border between Nepal and Tibet, the around Nangpa La Trek is an exciting route filled with stunning Himalayan views and historic relevance; it is the ancient trading route between the two countries. Nangpa La is a high mountain pass crossing the Himalayas and the Nepal-Tibet Autonomous Region border a few kilometres west of Cho Oyu and some 30 km northwest of Mount Everest.

This trip is ideal for those looking to get in touch with the unique culture of the Khumbu region and enjoy some magnificent landscapes. A foot-trail over Nangpa La is the traditional trade and pilgrimage route connecting Tibetans and Sherpas of Khumbu.

This Trek has a unique experience and stories between Tibet and Nepal trade junction. The Everest region also known as Khumbu offers a glimpse of the lifestyle and culture of the world-renowned mountain race Sherpas. As most climbers have summited Everest and some are heading up to summit for setting some record and aiming to stand on the top of the world . Speed summit climbers have safely made back to Kathmandu safely and now on their way back . This expedition wasn’t about sleeping in a luxury and big tents at base camp like other big commercial operators,this expedition was about paying the right wages to the Sherpas and Porters , uplifting the young and new emerging climbing Sherpas and guides by an IFMGA certified mountains guides , taking care of people and place around and sponsoring 1 child per employee . Big Shoutout to all the Sherpas who helped climbers to reach the panicle of the world risking their life , sadly 12 people have lost their lives while climbing Mt. Everest recently in this season ,mostly Sherpas . There might have been more if some climbers didn’t make a decision returning back safely. Thankful to all climbers who have thought of other’s life and making a wise decision. Mountains will be there next time but not your life.
