Warm greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti!

Today, all over Nepal and the world, the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha is celebrated. Also known as Buddha Purnima, this day is of great importance to the Buddhists. Although every full moon is regarded as sacred by the Buddhists, the full moon of is particularly significant since it is believed that Buddha was born, attained enlightenment (nirvana), and died, achieving parinirvana, on this day. Each year, a parade is held in the morning at , followed by a scheduled program of cultural events during the day, and hundreds of lamps are lit at night at the Temple to commemorate Buddha Jayanti.

Everest Summit 👏

Over 150 climbers have made the summit of Everest this morning. Congrats to all the teams!

Reports confirmed that winds were moderate and offered a challenge. Winds will be increasing over the next few days, let's see of the remaining climbers in basecamp will get another weather window before the season is over.
