Everest Region it is situated in eastern part of Nepal which is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square kilometers. The impressive Thyangboche Monastery (3,860m) is an important Buddhist monastery, which has the largest Gompa in the Khumbu region. 2. Everest Base camp and Gokyo Lakes Trekking
This trek in the Everest region takes you to the heart of it in the shortest practical time possible. It is an exhilarating, but challenging trek that combines the Everest Base Camp route with the tranquil turquoise glacial lakes of Gokyo valley. We start with a classic route, but less visited, to Everest Base Camp on the Khumbu glacier. Kala Pathar (5,554m) is our first ascent which rewards us with a panorama of the majestic Everest and its neighbouring peaks of Ama Dablam, Makalu, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Throughout this trek the panorama is constantly changing but each and every one leaves you with an indelible memory of this mountain wilderness. The trail then crosses the glaciated Cho La Pass (5,330m) to the Goyko valley with its perfect turquoise glacial lakes. The 360 º view from Gokyo Ri (5,360m) is breathtaking, and is one of the most impressive places in the world. You are surrounded by four of the fourteen eight-thousanders; Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu. The descent back to Lukla takes on a different atmosphere as we walk through a valley passing through patches of birch and rhododendron forests where the elusive musk deer lurch at large.

Langtang valley is just south of the Tibetan border. The valley itself is between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range to the south. The most prominent peaks include Langtang Lirung (7246m), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Naya Kangri (5846m) and Ponggen Dokpu (5930m). The Langtang valley trek is the nearest Himalayan region from Kathmandu valley; after few hours’ drive from Kathmandu will take you to the beautiful Langtang region. Despite being very close to Kathmandu, the Langtang valley trek is as wild as any Tibetan highlands with idyllic rural landscape. The people living in the highlands of the Langtang are certainly Nepalese but being the descendant of the Tibetan origin, they look like the Tibetans. Hence, Langtang is one of the most popular trekking regions for those wishing a short tour from Kathmandu into the Himalaya influenced by Tibetan lifestyle. Moreover, accompanying with the varieties of rhododendron, bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls and snow-capped Himalaya make the trek one of the most diverse treks nearby Kathmandu. Our 11 days Langtang Valley Trek starts with a day's jeep/bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We begin the hike from Syabrubesi. We head upward to Lama Hotel and Langtang village until we arrive at the famous Kanyanjing Gompa. After exploring Chorkari RI (5050 meters) we trek back to same way through to Syabrubesi from where we drive back to Kathmandu.
2. Langtang Gosaikunda Trek
Langtang Gosaikunda Trek combines three major areas toward north-east of Kathmandu along the border of Tibet with spectacular valley of Langtang and high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda. Visit the beautiful Langtang National park and then trek to the end of the valley to view the wonderful mountains views. Following the Trisuli River north out of Kathmandu, we drive through Trisuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. We then swing east into the Langtang valley, crossing the river several times as we trekl up along lower section of the valley. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even cross glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang. A little further up the valley is Kyanjin Gompa, where we stop overnight and sample the local yak cheese. We pass through Nubamatang, nestled in a hidden valley, on our way up to view the glaciers, which mark the gateway into Tibet. Backtracking, we travel through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a high plateau, where the sacred lake Gosainkunda is located. Crossing the Laurebina Pass (4610m), we continue south, leaving the Langtang region behind us as we trek through the Helambu valley to Gul Bhanjyang. This charming regions offer an opportunity to explore villages, to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation. There are about 108 lakes or kundas (in Nepali K***a Means Lakes) in this area and mainly visible from the routes are Saraswati K***a, Bhairab K***a, Surya K***a and Gosainkunda is the famous and most important one and we have excellent views of snowy mountain peaks, such as Langtang Lirung (7,246 m.). Gangchenpo (5,846 m.) and Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m). Those are most peaceful and fascinating peaks in Langtang region.

The G***a La Pass Trek is a popular, tough and daring trekking track in Langtang region because the territory of the pass is very narrow and there is the risk of rock falls This trek offers an opportunity to discover Tibetan villages, Tamang Villages, panoramic Himalayan views of the Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Yala peak, Naya kanga, Gaurishankar including the Annapurna Himalayan range, to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at a contentedly low elevations. G***a La trek starts from Sybru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Pul Bazar. From Sybru Bensi, you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyanching Gompa (3,049.). Kyanching Gompa is the last Tibetan Village in the valley, from where a trek starts to Helambu over G***a La Pass (5200m). Langtang G***a La pass trek follows through alpine forests, rich flora and fauna and high altitude pasturelands. It is considered as a unique and wilderness trek route. After passing the G***a La Pass, the track takes you to Malemchi gaon and Tarke Ghyang.

The trail passes through conventional Tamang villages where life, culture, and crafts have remained unchanged since the beginning of the settlement. Tamang Heritage Trek usually starts either from Dhunche or Syabrubesi and passes through Goljung, Gatlang, Thuman, Timure, Briddim, Lama Hotel, Langtang valley and Kyangjin Gompa. The visit to beautiful local Tamang monastery and the holy Parvatikunda Lake at Gatlang adds exhilaration to your trekking. The Tamang Heritage Trekking area is located about 30 kilometers toward the north of Kathmandu. While trekking to Tamang Heritage Trial, the trekkers will receive vigorous felicitation by the locals rich in their dissimilar costumes, architecture of their mountain houses and ancient monasteries. The Tamang Heritage Trail offers us the wilderness experience through beautiful landscapes of alpine topography, flat meadows and rhododendron forests. The main inhabitants of this Tamang Heritage are believed to be the descendants of Tibetans from Kerung who intermingled with Tamang of the Helambu area. During this Tamang Heritage trek we can enjoy the thespian views of Langtang Lirung (7245m.), Langtang Kerung, Chimse Danda ridge crossed by G***ala Pass (5122m.), Dorje Lakpa (6989m.), Jugal Himal, Ganesh Himal, Paldor peak, Shringi Himal, Manaslu and Sanjen Himal ranges. 5. Helambu Trek
The Helambu Trek covers the diverse range of brilliant green valleys, misty rhododendron forests, and distant horizons of snowy peaks and the vivid contrast of Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist cultures. The Helambu trek is the ideal short trek and this Helambu region remains relatively un-spoilt. Here in Helambu you will experience the yolmo culture of high mountains villages, marvel at vistas of lonely high mountains and watch enthralled as the farmers toil in the fields using handmade tools and teams of water buffalo. Helambu valley trek noted for its scenic grandeur and pleasant climate, lie in the north of the Kathmandu Valley. In Helambu one can stay in highland monastery villages and small settlements in pristine forests. The Sherpa village's of Helambu focuses the charming enclave of farmers and yak herders. The Helambu Trek starts with a scenic drive through the Nepali country side to Sundarijal. The most accessible of all trekking regions, Helambu offers a low altitude, distinctly enjoyable walk. In Tamang and Sherpa villages meet friendly and hospitable people with strong family and cultural ties. Helambu provides an instant Himalayan trek for those with limited time. This trek is an easy and enjoyable trip conducted at the average altitude of 3500m. The trek takes you through Thadepati to Tarke Gyang, where a choice of trails opens up. However we go along the south ridge through Shermathang, down to the river at Melamchi, the site of a mega project to bring drinking water to Kathmandu via a series of tunnels. The Helambu trek ends with a drive down to Kathmandu, after a night's camp at Melamchi Bridge bazaar.
6. Upper Dolpa Trek
The Upper Dolpa Trek is a magical, mythical appeal. The landscapes are more desolate than on the Lower Dolpo and the villages even more isolated and pure. In upper Dolpa centuries old Buddhist traditions, interwoven with shamanistic influences, are still an important part of daily life. The villages, gompa’s and people you meet during this trek will leave an unforgettable impression on you. The Upper Dolpa Trek is in a restricted area, for which a fee is charged of US$ 500 for the first 10 days, and US$ 50 for each additional day. Besides, there is a maximum of the number of foreigners that can enter each year. Currently this maximum is put at 250 people. This makes a trek into Upper Dolpo a very special and exclusive experience. The trekking brings you to Shey Gompa, which is often referred to as the spiritual heart of Upper Dolpo. It’s a magical place, situated at the base of Crystal Mountain, which is visited by hundreds of pilgrims each year. They make a Kora (circuit) of the Crystal Mountain, Dolpo’s own version of Mount Kailash. The Upper Dolpo Trek is very strenuous, you have to cross three high passes, Kang La/ Ngadra La of 5350 m, the Shey La of 5000 m and Jeng La of 5110 m. These crossings involve long climbs and long descends. Besides, you stay above 4000 meters for a long time, with very cold nights. But the unforgettable landscapes, the views from the passes and the contacts with a very special untouched culture make it all worth it.
7. Lower Dolpa Trek
The Lower Dolpa Trek gives you the opportunity to experience life in the remote highlands. You walk through a variety of landscapes, ranging from green pastures, reminding to the European Alps, to barren rocks, reminding to the Tibetan plateau. The Phoksundo Lake is of an incomparable beauty, with its deep blue and emerald colors, surrounded by steep bold rocks. You pass some small authentic villages, inhabited by straight descendents of the Tibetans. Buddhism en Bonpo are very important for the people living in these villages and interwoven in everyday life. Bonpo religion is the oldest spiritual tradion of Tibet. It is very much related with Buddhism, but has more shamanistic and animistic influences, which gives a mythical appeal to Dolpa. Due to its remote location, Dolpa is still an “off the beaten track destination”. Especially in spring and summer you see very few other tourists. The Lower Dolpa Trek is a quite strenuous trekking, with some steep climbs. You have to cross two passes, Numa La of 5318 m and Baga La of 5190 m. These crossings involve long climbs and long descend. But the scenery on the way, the views from the passes and the encounters you will have with the Dolpa people will make it all worth it.
8. Rara Lake Trek
Rara Lake, is the largest lake of Nepal, situated in Mugu district in the Karnali Zone in the far western region of Nepal, near Gam Ghadi (district-headquarter of Mugu) and Talcha airstrip. It takes around 3 to 4 days of trek to reach Rara from Jumla. Rara Lake Trek leads you from Jumla in the mid western region of Nepal. This trek provides excellent exploration opportunities to Nepal’s finest Rara National park, it is situated at an altitude of 2,987 meter. Considered to be off the beaten trail and it is a non technical journey and is suitable for common trekkers. Rara lake Trek offers the best scenery on the north-western most side of Nepal. Within its confines lie into Rara national park, it is smallest national park in Nepal, where in turn the country's largest lake, can be found 10.8 sq. At 2,990 meters. Considered one of the finest parks in the world, Rara National Park abounds in coniferous forest and is the ideal habitat for the musk deer, Himalayan black bear and other faunae. Rara is a good destination point for trekking in the west. The trail is very much "off the beaten path" and affords glimpses of culture and scenery very different from those in the rest of the country. The centerpiece of the park is the biggest lake of Nepal. Along mountain paths and a series of picturesque villages, one reaches the magnificent banks of Rara Lake. The park includes Trans- Himalayan valley with high ridges covered with forest and alpine pastures.
9. Manaslu Trek
The Manaslu Trekking is considered one of the most challenging treks in Nepal; it rewards the adventurous with an unparalleled alpine experience. The Manaslu circuit offers the perfect combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed Himalayan scenic beauty, and the fascinating Tibetan culture with its rich mountain biological diversity. Manaslu, at 8118 meters, is the 8th highest peak in the world and is located on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means "The Spirit-Mountain" in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Trekking in Manaslu region is one of the most delightful adventures. If you would like to sample both extremes of the trekking experience in Nepal, and really want to see what all the excitement is about in terms of the most breath-taking mountain scenery on earth, then look no further than the Manaslu circuit via the Larkya La. Pass. It is a challenging trip requiring good physical fitness and stamina. The standard Manaslu circuit trek usually begins from Arughat and ends at Dharapnai in the Annapurna region. The Manaslu trek offers a unique opportunity to experience a reasonably "untouched" region of Nepal. This trek follows a route that has long been covered by Himalayan buffs, going north behind Himalchuli Peak 29 (7835m.) and Mt. Manaslu 8118m.
10. Makalu Base Camp Trek
The Makalu Base Camp Trek is one of the most remote and isolated trekking areas of Nepal as a result it became a challenging trek in a very remote area of Nepal. Makalu Trek, Barun Valley, is located in the eastern part of Nepal and offers us impressive natural scenery. 11. Upper Mustang Trek
Upper Mustang trek is one of the historical himalayal, which is lies in Trans Himalayan district of Western region of Nepal.
