You should set aside an extra day in Pangboche if you witness views like this—surreal and otherworldly. At the Ama Dablam base camp, situated at 4,800 meters, you're very close to many of the Khumbu Himalayan giants and can meet climbers preparing for their expedition to Mount Ama Dablam.
