Makalu is the fifth highest mountain in the world at 8,481 metres (27,825 ft). It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the China–Nepal border. One of the eight-thousanders, Makalu is an isolated peak in the shape of a four-sided pyramid.

Makalu has two notable subsidiary peaks. Kangchungtse, or Makalu II (7,678 m) lies about three kilometres (two miles) north-northwest of the main summit. Rising about 5 km (3 mi) north-northeast of the main summit across a broad plateau, and connected to Kangchungtse by a narrow, 7,200 m saddle, is Chomo Lonzo (7,804 m).

We are excited to share the news that 2 clients and 2 Sherpa from Glacier Himalaya - Treks & Expéditions reached the summit of Mount Annapurna at 8.18 am on 16th April 2023. This is the season's first summit of the 8000 meters mountain.

With Mr Luc support and Mr.Thomas coordination,We will make it happen successful project.
It's good news for us, that people from another country (France) are going to clean our
County mountain.
I want to thanks again to Mr Luc and Mr Thomas from my buttom of my heart for this wonderful project and preserving our mountains 🏔️
We all need to learn to protect our mountains by not throwing rubbish.
Hope everything goes as planned and successful on this project.
We are hoping for next cleaning project in another mountain for upcoming future. So that our whole mountain remains clean and beautiful.

The news of the accident of Yeti Airlines ANC ATR 72, which flew to Pokhara from Kathmandu this morning with 68 passengers nationality and international passenger including 4 crew members, has become very sad and shocked. At this sad time, we offer our heartfelt condolences to all the deceased who lost their lives in the accident and express our deepest condolences to the bereaved families.
