Assalamu Alaikum my dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Please find below a suggested list of what you should consider taking with you on Hajj. It is a memory jogger as you might already have your own list.

Suggested List of what to take
Health and Hygiene:
1. Vitamins
2. Prescription medication (Doctor’s script in case you are asked at customs, makes life easier)- Visit your doctor before you leave
3. Asthma spray, allergy tablets, EpiPen etc.
4. General over the counter pain, cold, cough, diarrhoea medicine etc. Balms, band aids etc.
5. Personal hygiene / toiletries set
6. Latex gloves
7. Hand sanitation solution
8. Unscented soap, Unscented deodorant, Unscented Vaseline / petroleum gel (a must for men in Ihram)
9. Battery operated hair trimmer and shaving gear if you want to do it yourself
10. Toilet paper or tissues or wet wipes
Clothes:
During Ihram in Mina. You will only be allowed to take a shoulder bag - Think what you will wear during 5 days of hajj
11. All clothes are Ihram for women (underwears, trousers, abaya, hijab, socks, etc.)
12. Men may pack an extra set of Ihram and set of clothes for Mina
13. Small towel
Footwear:
very important to have comfortable and good quality specially for 12 km walks of Jamaraat – most common injuries are blisters
14. Pair flip flops / sandals (not fully covering ankles and toes) for bathrooms and for men when in Ihram
15. Comfortable walking shoes / sandals / flip flops
Accessories:
16. Large-brimmed hat (not allowed during Ehram for men)
17. Umbrella – provided in Saudi
18. Sunglasses
19. Personal traveling prayer mat if needed- Can buy in Saudi
20. Tawaf counter – Provided in Saudi
Electrical:
21. Power point converter
22. Phone charger
23. Extension cord with multiple outlets (1 per 4 person in the room)
24. A torch (or use phone)
Comfort:
25. A camp stool / chair – Can buy in Saudi or borrow in Harram
26. Wheelchair – Can hire or buy in Saudi
27. Padded mat for Muzdalifah – buy in Saudi or provided
28. Back pack – small standard to take to Mina
Documents:
29. Dua book – Can buy in Saudi Quran – Can buy in Saudi
30. X2 Extra copies of passport and visa
31. One for SIM card purchase
32. One for check in at Hotel
Note that everything is available in Saudi Arabia in supermarkets and pharmacies etc. So, if you prefer to purchase over there, it is up to you. You might not get exactly to your choice but availability is there.
