Well what a year , firstly we would like to thank you all for your support and we are so happy to see you all wanting to be out exploring the world, it has been an extremely busy but gratifying year.

With flight availability still at such a premium we would suggest those still thinking about next year get on to it - Don’t forget there is the Olympics /Paralympics in Paris and the America's cup in Barcelona both happening next year.

✈ NZ STEPS UP ITS SERVICE ✈

Air New Zealand is giving passengers what they want, as it reveals this morning that from 30 Oct, all new Economy bookings made on its Tahiti, Perth and Honolulu services will receive full-inflight services.
This includes a meal, IFE and baggage allowances.
It comes as NZ gm short haul airline Jeremy O’Brien says there’s a need for a consistent NZ experience.
“Ensuring everyone can enjoy a meal from our delicious new menu gives an overall better onboard experience and streamlines the process for our crew and customers.”

From 20 Oct, seat and seat+bag fares will no longer be available to be booked on Perth or Tahiti flights departing after 30 Oct.
Passengers will now be able to choose between The Works (Economy), Premium Economy and Business Premier.
From 30 Oct, Honolulu flights will move to a full-service offering, with passengers able to choose between Economy, Premium Economy and Business Premier on these flights.

The COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020 has been reviewed to ensure it remains fit for purpose. The plan before the end of the year is to remove the most restrictive powers that are no longer needed, while still making sure we can practically manage the ongoing impact of COVID-19.

The ability to put measures in place such as isolation periods, mask-wearing, and requirements for travellers will be kept. Then if things change and we need to step up our response, we can do so. Most other measures, including lockdowns, will be removed.

7 years today Sarah and I took ownership of Stars Travel. Wow what a journey we have had.
