Hello Japan

We are now taking expressions of interest for an es**rted 12-day Japan discovery tour in 2023.

We be hosting one of Travelmarvel's newest tours to Japan, the land of the Rising Sun, in time to enjoy the Cherry Blossom Season.

The Cherry Blossom (Sakura) has been celebrated in Japan for many centuries and holds a very particular place in Japanese culture.

Although there are many varieties of Cherry trees in Japan, most bloom just for a few days in spring. The Japanese celebrate this time of year with Hanami, (Cherry blossom viewing) parties. Where they gather with friends, family or work colleagues and sit on plastic mats under the blossoming trees to drink, sing, talk or just to admire the spectacle.

We will spend 12 days travelling by coach and bullet train through southern Japan, staying in premium accommodation. Starting in Tokyo we will visit Mt Fuji, Crow Castle, Hiroshima's World Peace Memorial Park and the A-Bomb Dome Museum before finishing up in Kyoto and Osaka with visits to the Golden temple and Nara's famous Deer Park.

Looking like something out of the “Lord of the Rings”, the rock statue of Decebalus overlooks the Iron Gates on the Danube River, which divides the Carpathian and Balkan mountains between Serbia and Romania.
In April 2023 our owner Bruce is heading back to Europe with APT. This 21 day river cruise from Bucharest to Amsterdam will be Bruce’s first time in Romania but will be his 6th river cruise between Budapest and Amsterdam. It’s promises something for everyone in 5 star luxury.

Air NZ Domestic: No-one Left Behind

All Air New Zealand passengers, vaccinated or unvaccinated, will be able to travel domestically this summer the carrier announced this morning.
However, to ensure the safety of passengers and NZ crew, from mid-Dec those aged 12 and over travelling on NZ domestic flights will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative C-19 test result taken within 72 hours of departure.
"Today's announcement is all about getting Kiwis ready for a summer of travel. Kiwis want to get back flying freely, and this is just another way we can protect our customers, employees and New Zealand," says NZ's chief customer and sales officer Leanne Geraghty. "We know it's the right thing to do and having an 'either or' option means we're not leaving anyone behind."
At the same time it will mean domestic travel is an option for all of a travel agent's clients. "After a challenging year we know our trade partners want the domestic skies to be open, and so do we, so this is a safe way we can achieve that and give everyone the summer of travel they've been looking forward to," adds Geraghty. . . Key Points To Note
*From mid Dec, all passengers 12 years and over will be asked to present proof of either full vaccination or a negative C-19 test (taken within 72 hours of departure) at check-in.
*NZ is hoping to have this in place by 14 Dec, initially through until 31 Mar. All vaccines and C-19 tests approved by the New Zealand Government will be accepted.
*A digital solution will make it as easy as possible, adds NZ. Clients can show proof of vaccination (or exemption) by uploading their QR code from the Government's My Vaccine Pass. This can be done at check-in via NZ's website, mobile app or at the kiosk.
*If customers don't check in on-line before arriving at the airport, they can present their printed My Vaccine Pass at the airport or kiosk.
*Clients who've a negative test result taken within 72 hours before departure need to present either the free community text message result or the doctor's letter at a check-in counter.
