Our Top 3 North Island destinations for a long weekend escape!!

🇳🇿 ROTORUA - Culture and adventure.
A great location to learn about Māori culture, learn about the history and heritage of the area, while also getting a dose of adventure in the North Islands adventure capital. Luging, heading to Hobbiton Movie Set and zorbing are some activities on offer. Or head to a geothermal spa to enjoy a nice soak!

🖤 Favourite activity - Head to Whakarewarewa The Living Maori Village to learn about Māori culture and how they lived.
🥐 Favourite food option - Guidough's - Laura's favourite bakery (in the North).
👍 Yo Pro Tip - Add in a day trip to Hobbiton for a Lord of the Ring's fix!

🇳🇿 WELLINGTON - City Escape for the Foodie.
A great destination for a wee city escape, with an abundance of options for places to eat. You have the pick of the brunch spots and such a variety of food to choose from for lunches and dinners - eating a different style everyday!

🏘 Favourite Hotel - - Located close to Te Papa and Courtenay Place.
🍻 Favourite foodie spot - a craft beer brewery - HUSK.
👍 YoPro Tip - head to for a couple of nights to explore the wine region.

🇳🇿 HAWKES BAY - So. Much. Wine.
Some lovely places for a quiet escape from the city with the addition of a great wine tour. Wineries galore mean there is something for everyone from reds, to roses to whites. There is also some great boutique accommodation to relax at.

What we love most about Maui is that it feels like the "real Hawaii".

Famous for its dreamy beaches, not to be missed sunsets and sunrises, volcanic landscapes and emerald green valleys.

A change of scenery from busy Oahu, Maui never loses itself to tourism. Instead, it remains grounded in lush nature, true Hawaiian culture, and the aloha spirit we all love to see.
