Well that's another amazing The Christchurch Art Show done for the year!

Massive thanks to the whole team who run this event! Such a good weekend and to be able to get my paintings out there in an event of this scale is hugely appreciated.
My 3rd year at this show and to be validated with consistent sales over those years really means a lot.

One of the highlights once again was meeting so many amazing artists and hanging out/talking s**t over the weekend, and to be lucky again to get great neighbors really makes a difference.
...I also was the regional winner for the stuff gold art award ,which is still sinking in. I was blown away by the number of people who came up and congratulated me over the course of the weekend.

That is a wrap! The good people at Kaiapoi Aluminum have finished for the year! They wish all their customers and suppliers - past, present and future a very safe and happy Christmas and holiday season.

We are taking a well earned break until the 15th of January but look forward to working with you all in 2024, enjoy the time with loved ones, be present, be happy and enjoy. Take care.

There is nothing like a new paint job to have you feeling all refreshed! The boss decided to give the building a bit of an update, we have new windows in the showroom with Solux E glass - by AGP glass - to keep us warmer in the winter. And …. we have a new showroom coming too - Stop in and say hi, you won’t recognise the place! ☺️

Happy Easter to you! Hopefully the Easter Bunny stops at your home! While you are waiting, the long weekend is a great time to do a little maintenance around your home, wash your aluminium windows and doors once every three months, if coastal more frequent washing is required. We recommend cleaning with a soft cloth with warm water and some mild household detergent. Rinse with fresh water.

First Windows & Doors is a proud sponsor of the Gallagher Chiefs rugby team. We are sure there will be a few Gallagher Chiefs supporters down here in the Mainland and just like us, you might be wondering how to support the people devastated by the weather events recently. This is one way that you can get on board and help out a wonderful cause. Sometimes we just need to all be on the same side of the rugby paddock.

All of us here at the Chiefs are thinking of all those people who have been affected by the Cyclone. Our club is going to be auctioning two 2023 Jerseys with all proceeds going to Red Cross ❤️💛🖤

The two jerseys being auctioned were worn in Fridays pre-season match by Damian McKenzie and Tanya Kalounivale. Each team has signed their respective jersey and will be available on TradeMe. Chiefs HQ will also be open from 8:30am-5:00pm this Monday to Thursday accepting donations of good quality second hand clothing and cans which will be sent to the Hawke’s Bay Friday.

Donations requested are
Torches / portable lamps + batteries
Tooth paste / toothbrushes
Deodorant
Single meal options i.e. cup of soups, tins of tuna etc something they heat up in a pot or just eat cold
Fresh fruit / green bananas (that will ripen over a couple of days)
Eggs
Clean bedding
A little bit of chocolate makes the world a slightly better place.

The messages we are receiving is the best thing to do is to donate to the Red Cross so please instead of buying these products please feel free to make a donation.

We have players, staff, members and whānau who are affected or know someone that has been impacted by this Cyclone. This auction is a small token of our appreciation for the strength of Aotearoa. Kia Kaha.

On Friday the MATES in Construction New Zealand and Dynamic Construction Ltd crew joined us for Lunch. We had a few laughs but more importantly talked about spotting invitations to ask a mate if they need help, making sure that we are all getting self care and looking after each other.

It's okay not to be okay, but it's not okay to do nothing about it.
