Posted • I truly couldn’t be happier to share this adventure! Free range tahr hunting in New Zealand is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now and man I’m glad I had the chance! I have a whole new respect for these animals and the terrain they live in. After just over 2000 feet of vertical gain and 6 hrs stalking, I couldn’t be happier with this bull! Our guide, Dan, made all the right calls to be able to get into bow range of a 10 year old bull and thankfully the rest is history.

Congrats on a massive effort and a wicked Tahr to show for it 💯
