Our new friends Chris and Manu from What Now recently paid us a visit. They learnt so much about the night sky from finding Matariki, to learning about the historic Brashear Telescope. They also joined us for our family friendly "Crater Experience".
This experience is designed for families and those who may have mobility issues. It takes place at our private Cowans Observatory, only a short 5min drive from the beautiful village of Lake Takapō.

We have had the most beautiful weekend here at DSP base camp, 'Rehua', with a wide range of activities that were on offer all across the motu!
We have pieced together a small highlight reel of some of the amazing activities that were available! We would like to acknowledge Matariki Mackenzie and Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu for allowing us to be a part of such a significant and important kaupapa.
