We know we cannot overload the tank with seaweed as it suffocates them, and they start to crawl out.
They absolutely love the smell of slightly older seaweed.
Bull kelp is a winner as well. They crawl all over it and will even float on top of it.

The meat from the Abalone Paua is sold domestically in New Zealand after we have taken it out of the shell. Magical colours greet us with an incredible lustre and overtones awaiting their grading.
The shells are kept safe in water until we cut the mabe pearls out using a diamond saw.
