Congratulations to Eleanor for receiving our member of the month award for October! Although Eleanor has had an injury, she persevered in the face of it all, joining us in the upstairs gym area on a nearly daily basis for rehabilitation exercise and smiling through work.

Hi ladies! Fiona and Bia are back with 2 women's clinics coming up next month being held at Basecamp Adventures Queenstown.
We will be running each clinic over two separate nights.

Clinic 1: INTRO TO CLIMBING:
Tuesday 19th & Tuesday 26th of November 5pm - 6:30pm
$106pp total.
If you are new to climbing or have climbed a bit in the past but need to brush up your skills, then this clinic is for you.
Topics covered:
* Footwork
* Body positioning
* How to read a climb
* How to rest on a climb
* Overcoming fear

Clinic 2: LEARN TO LEAD
Tuesday 19th & Tuesday 26th of November 6:30pm - 8pm
$106pp total.
If you are already top rope climbing and want to learn how to lead climb, clean a climb and tackle fear associated with leading in a controlled way this is your clinic.
Topics covered:
* Lead Climbing Basics
* Clipping & Body Position
* Communication
* Cleaning The Route
* Overcoming fear

*If you want to sign up for both this is also an option.

Introducing, Molenberg Climb for Goodness!  

Our nation-wide family-friendly sessions are the perfect day out for parents and kids, including an hour free of climbing, goodie bag merch giveaways, a free loaf of Oat Goodness and spot prizes to be won!   

There will be 500 free rock-climbing sessions in total; 100 in Auckland on 21 September and 100 each in Dunedin, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown the following Saturday.  

Tickets will be valid for a one-hour session of fun .

Every Friday from 6-8pm we host our climb nights social hours to support women and people of the LGBTQIA+ communities to creat a safe climbing space.

If you’ve never climbed before or have years of experience, this event is for everyone! It’s a great chance to meet new people, make friends, or to get out there to try something new!

We want to give a shout out to Shirley! She came snowshoeing with us last year and booked again this year for her birthday! She was visiting from Brisbane and headed out with our guide jenny_in_the_mountains
