Son of , Mohsin Kamal (late) got retired in 2011 as Lt. General (3 star general) from Pakistan Army. He served as Corp Commander Rawalpindi ( X Corp), strategically the most important position in Pakistan Army after COAS.

Born at Sialkot in 1953, Major General Mohsin Kamal received his early education in Muzaffarabad (AJK). He joined Cadet College Hasanabdal in 1966 (13th Entry ) and remained there till 1971. Later that year, he joined Pakistan Military Academy Kakul. He was known for his leadership qualities and courage and was highly regarded within the forces and in the family/ AJK circle. After retirement, he services were acquired to reform the crippled Public Service Commission (PSC) of AJK. He passed away in 2020 due to COVID. General Mohsin Kamal is the true inspiration for the youth of AJK.
