y wonderful weekend guests from Switzerland... thank you. It was so special to see Chopin's birthplace and church where he was baptised in a winter scenario.

Our walk on winter sunday morning around Warsaw Old Town, just after it has snowed ❄️❄️❄️... was like a miracle 🤗

Flowers, candles,... crowd on cemeteries. All Saints' Day in Poland. This year a sunny day, the best one to visit the grave sites of our relatives. Beautiful walk in a beautiful autumn day.

All Saints' Day - one of the most important holidays in Polish calendar. It's almost one week to go, but the preparations on all the graveyards in our country started. It was nice to share stories about our traditions and special people who deserve to be unforgettable.

On last day of a Jewish holiday Sukkot I met with a group of young people from a school exchange. Polish group came from the schools of the city of Lublin and the Jewish group from the city of Rishon le Tzijon - Israel.
They learned about history of Poland and Warsaw, lit a candle at the Monument of the Ghetto Uprising Heros, but enjoyed a walk thru modern part of the city as well.
There was a very emotional moment, when one of the Israeli boys told the story about his grandpa, how he survived !!! the WWII exodus. Look at the pickture of Grandpa Wisnia, and Wisnia Gradson... they look pretty the same. There is a saying in Polish when two people are very similar to each other: they are like two drops of water. They're exactly like that!!

This time we've visit with Kasia - English speaking tourguide in Warsaw Poland Belvedere Palace in Warsae. It's one of the official residences used by Polish presidents. We felt at home 😄

Last week I had a wonderful trip with my friends from International Women's Group of Warsaw to Żelazowa Wola 🎶🎹. We visited the bithplace of Frederic Chopin and anjoyed a walk around the beautiful park surrounding the hause. Lunch at the cafe in the park was.. unforgettable 😀
It was also very interesting to see the 14th century church in Brochów. Here baby Frederic was baptized 😇😄

15 August - Armed Forces Day - a national day
commemorating the anniversary of the 1920 victory over Soviet Russia at the Battle of Warsaw during the Polish–Soviet War.

Today more than 90 airplanes and helicopters, 200 vehiclesand over 2000 troops took partin the Military Parade.

June 1st - it's an International Childrens Day🎈🎉. Very much celebrated in Poland. Like Janusz Korczak (a Polish Jewish educator and pedagogue) said: "when a child laughs, the whole world laughs" 😄😄😄. So.. keep smiling, keep laughing kids. I wish you all a beautiful life.

It's one of the most beautiful sculptures of John Paul II. You may admire it in the Holy Cross church in Warsaw. Don't forget to lit a candle, especially today, when it's ouer Popes birthday (18.05.1920 - 02.05.2005) 🌷🪻🌸 😀
