What is your idea of cultural experiences? What does it bring to your mind? The tribal dances or local people going about their lives?
Experience the rich cultural diversity of #Uganda with plenty of involvement with Locals. Learn about the Karamajong, the Baganda, and others.
Some cultures have been washed by the civilisation but there are some tribes that have stayed raw and still practice their values, held onto traditional clothing and lifestyles in much of their range.
While lifestyles are circumscribed these days by the conventions of modern life, these communities are still rooted in traditions very different from those most visitors are used to.
Book your #culturaltour with us or get a blend of nature and culture on one round safari.

THE CRATERS OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Between Katwe and the Kasese Road, the Landscape at Queen Elizabeth National Park is studded by several dozens of Volcanic explosion crater lakes, variously filled with #water, #acacia , grassland and Forest.
A view point on Katwe Road 5km from Kasese-Ishaka Road, overlooks the famous Lake Nyamunuka in the video (literally, "Smelly Place"), an impressive lake whose green and odorous waters are often attended by herds of buffaloes and injured animals.
Solid 4x4s, 2 hours to spare, are worth exploring through the rocky 27km Katwe-Kikorongo Explosion craters track. It offers splendid views of L.Kyamengo, and a numbers of other crater lakes and each has its own microhabitat, some lush forests from rim to rim, others with treeless 🌳 Savanna.
The place is notable for its quality scenery than its game viewing, but it is haunted by Elephants 🐘, Buffaloes 🐃, and acacia associated birds 🐦 and (be warned, for tsetse flies).

THE GREAT WILDEBEEST MIGRATION🦬
From #Serengeti to Masai Mara and back, the Great Migration is a yearly cycle and it never stops. Over 2 million wildebeests/Gnus mixed with zebras follow the loop path from the Serengeti plains through Kenya, behind the seasonal rains.
This is an African wonder and one of the largest remaining/active wildlife migrations in the world. It is a wildlife spectacle that when you are visiting #tanzania you should not miss.
Though most are interested in the river crossing at Mara River and Gurumeti River, the event takes place all year from calving, to the crossings, the herds never stop the cycle.
January, Feb, and March- They Trek from Masai Mara and North East Serengeti at the edge of Ngorongoro around Ndutu.
April to June- They Drift to Central Serengeti where the most Zebras and other antelopes join in.
July- Leave Northern Serengeti after crossing the Grumeti River and Mara River to cross to Masai Mara Reserve
August to October- The herds are in the Masai Mara
November to December- The show is in Eastern Serengeti as they journey down to South Serengeti.

This beautiful and amazing species which I have had several privileges to spend my time with them in their natural habitats in Uganda hold a huge space in my dear heart.
World Gorilla 🦍 day is an annual event celebrating #Gorillas 🦍 and empowering global communities to take action for gorilla conservation.
The main threat to Gorillas 🦍 is people and the associated increasing pressure on the Gorilla’s habitat. With so few individuals in the wild, the Mountain Gorillas is listed as critically endangered! The good news is, their numbers have been recently rising. It’s not too late to fit us to protect our mighty cousins.

One of the most beautiful spectacles Uganda has to offer. The Nile River forcing its self through the 7m gorge, falling from 45m cliff. The sheer sensory overload of the deafening roar of the river as it crashes and the voluminous spray it generates make the sight impressive. It is a beauty like no other at the "World's Most Powerful Waterfalls".

HYENA- Murchison Falls National Park
Hyenas are some of Africa's most common carnivores. Spotted hyenas are largest of the three species (together with spotted and brown hyenas). Mostly related with scavenging, these are actually great hunters. They also have excellent hearing and night-time vision. They are very territorial and live in Clans though some time you can meet solo ones dwelling in the wild. On our recent visit to Murchison we met this here.

SHOEBILL SEARCH, MABAMBA SWAMP
The search for the prehistoric #Shoebill bird is quite an experience. Being polled around a wooden fishing boat through the small channels of marsh-filled water on the Edge of Lake Victoria at the specific site like Mabamba, Makanaga, and Lutembe.
Our visitors to 📍Mabamba Swamp had a chance to explore the Ramsar site for the sighting of the bird. It was an awesome one.
