Nature is really Beautiful ❤️

This is a Rock Hyrax. Rock hyraxes are found at elevations up to 4,200 m (13,800 ft) above sea level in habitats with rock crevices, allowing them to escape from predators. They are the only extant terrestrial afrotherians in the Middle East. Hyraxes typically live in groups of 10–80 animals and forage as a group. They have been reported to use sentries to warn of the approach of predators. Having incomplete thermoregulation, they are most active in the morning and evening, although their activity pattern varies substantially with season and climate.

Along with other hyrax species and the sirenians, this species is the most closely related to the elephant.

Today, let us tell you about the 4 Kenyan ladies that took on the Virunga Challenge like bosses🔥

Earlier this year, in March, we called out people to join the challenge in partnership with Avi Expeditions. The ladies responded to the call.

At first sight, these ladies look like they are on a holiday, very calm & easy! Even the guides underestimated and told me, we shall probably get off Sabyinyo after 7pm! But do not be fooled by the beautiful looks😅, these are machines on the mountain 🙌🙌. Moderate pace and very steady under every condition.

They surely left a mark in the mountains as they are still talked about! We were off every mountain by 6pm💪

For the great hikers they are, we officially congratulate , a Naiorbi Lawyer, , Tech enthusiast, , a Nairobi Lawyer & , a Professional tour expert for responding to a call and taking on the Virungas.
